How we handle your data

This page belongs to Mixtapes NG (formerly NaijaDJMixtapes). We built our own simple visitor statistics so that no outside company tracks you here.

What we count

When you open a page we record the page address, the site that sent you, your browser type, device type, approximate country, and the time. We also count clicks on buttons such as “Copy new link” and the share buttons.

What we don't do

We don't set cookies on this page and we don't store your IP address. To count unique visitors we create a scrambled code from your connection that changes every day and cannot be turned back into your IP address. Your browser keeps one small “seen before” note so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. It contains no personal details and you can clear it with your browser data.

If you join the waitlist or send a mix

We store the name, email or WhatsApp number and choices you give us, only to contact you about the launch or your submission. We never sell your details. To see, correct or delete your data, contact us through the new site and we'll handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

How long we keep it

Detailed visit records are deleted after 900 days. Only daily totals are kept after that.
